The Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Cook County (CAC) is located at 8651 S 79th Avenue in Justice, IL. The purpose of this center is to help lessen the trauma that a child faces during a sexual abuse investigation. They serve children ages 3-17 in the southwest suburbs. The Village Voice Party realizes and appreciates the importance of the CAC’s work in our community and will be collecting items to donate to the children that come in during the course of an investigation.

The following items are needed currently at the CAC:

Small toys for boys and girls: Matchbox cars, Barbie dolls, toy cars, trucks, small dolls, coloring books, crayons, small stuffed animals. This is really to be a small inexpensive token the child is given as they leave the CAC post interview.

They are also in need of snack items to feed the children with. Juice boxes of any kind, and small individually packaged snack items.
