Last Friday evening (Jan. 27th) Mayor Kris Wasowicz held his annual Town Hall Meeting for the North side of town. After a brief review of current village business the mayor opened the meeting to the residents, asking if they had any questions or concerns.

Ironically, but not to our surprise, all the Coalition Party candidates, which the Village Voice supports, were in attendance. However, none of the opposition candidates were anywhere to be found in the room.

The question the Coalition candidates have for the nonattending candidates:

How can you hope to understand your resident’s problems or concerns if you don’t even show them enough respect to attend the meeting?
